Nana Yaw is a marketing practitioner and an avid writer with special interest in Marketing Strategy, Brands Management and Marketing Communications strategy. His goal is to make marketing fun and simple by using illustrations from Ghana’s corporate and socio-political environment to explain marketing strategy and concepts. He also writes on a whole range of issues ranging from social issues, sports, entertainment and politics.

 

Nana Yaw is a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, United Kingdom (CIM, UK) and a full member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG).He holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Ghana and a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from GIMPA where he graduated with first class honors and as the best overall graduating student. He also holds an HND in Marketing from Accra Polytechnic as well as a Professional Postgraduate Diploma and Professional Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, United Kingdom (CIM, UK).

 

He studied for his CIM, UK professional marketing qualifications at Oxford College of Marketing in England and at the Ghana School of Marketing in Accra where he was awarded as the best student at the Professional Diploma level (formerly Advanced Certificate).Nana Yaw has over 15 years working experience in Marketing and Marketing Communications related roles.

He has worked as the Head of Marketing & Communications at the erstwhile Capital Bank Ghana, Resident Marketing & Managing Consultant for Creator Digital Ghana Ltd, Lecturer/Consultant with the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG), Marketing/Media Relations Manager at Media Gold Productions and as Traffic Officer at Radio Gold 90.5fm (Network Broadcasting Company Ltd.).

He is currently the Communications Manager at GCB Bank Limited.
